Invisalign – The invisible Braces

Invisalign treatment consists of a series of nearly invisible, removable aligners that you change every two weeks for the next set of aligners. Each aligner is individually manufactured for your teeth, and your teeth only. As you replace each aligner, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week – until they have straightened to the final position prescribed by your orthodontist.

Using a virtual treatment plan generated by special software, we will show you the series of movements your teeth will go through over the course of the treatment. This allows us to show you upfront what your teeth are expected to look like at the end of the treatment!

After this procedure and based on the revised results on the computer, we send an order to Align Technology in the USA and your custom-made, clear aligners are shipped directly to our office. In Your Smile Orthodontics we use the above method successfully for over 15 years.

Every patient’s aligners are unique and intended solely for the used by the patient as identified. The material used is a special thermoforming plastic that closely adapts to the dental anatomy of each individual case. Every custom made aligner is marked with the dental arch, patient’s name and aligner sequence number.
